Your all-inclusive adventure begins in Prague, enjoy two days in one of Europe’s most beautiful cities and celebrate in their Pride festivities. One of Europe’s best-preserved cities, Prague’s medieval center remains a beautiful mixture of cobblestone pathways, and Gothic cathedrals. From Prague we travel to one of Europe’s most fabled rivers, the Danube.

Your trip continues with a relaxing cruise from picturesque Passau to Melk, Vienna, Bratislava and culminating in in the vibrant Hungarian city of Budapest, one of Europe’s hottest destinations.

  • Day 1 – August 11, 2019

    Prague, Czech Republic
    Arrive in Prague and transfer to your hotel. The balance of the day is free time to start exploring this beautiful city. Meet your fellow guests at welcome gathering in the early evening. Further details will be provided with your final documents

  • Day 2 – August 12, 2019

    Prague
    This morning’s sightseeing reveals why Prague is considered one of Europe’s most attractive cities. You’ll have the opportunity to visit the Church of Tyn, see the famous Astronomical Clock and walk over the spectacular Charles Bridge. Mix with the locals at Wenceslaus Square, shop for souvenirs or enjoy one of the charming cafés or restaurants. Wander along the banks of the Vltava River, relax at an outdoor restaurant, or shop for local handicrafts and art work.

  • Day 3 – August 13, 2019

    Prague/Passau, Germany
    After breakfast, drive from Prague through the pastoral countryside to Passau, where the Rivers Inn and Ilz join the Danube. Tonight gather on board for a Gala Welcome Dinner.

  • Day 4 – August 14, 2019

    Passau/Linz, Austria
    After breakfast enjoy a city walk through Passau, gaze at this fairy-tale city founded more than 2,000 years ago. Or, take an optional full-day tour to Salzburg and its most popular “Sound of Music” sights including the Wedding Church, exquisite Mirabell Gardens, the Great Salzburg Festival Hall and much more. For those staying on board, enjoy a scenic cruise from Passau into Austria and on to Linz. Take a walk through this delightful town, Austria’s third largest city.

  • Day 5 – August 15, 2019

    Melk/Weissenkirchen/Vienna, Austria
    Cruise through the narrow Strudengau and reach the Wachau Valley early this morning. We arrive in Melk home of the magnificent Benedictine Abbey, one of Europe’s largest baroque monasteries. Return to the ship for lunch as you cruise the romantic Wachau Valley. Late this evening arrive in Vienna, the “City of Music” and Austria’s magnificent capital.

  • Day 6 – August 16, 2019

    Vienna, Austria
    Today explore the vibrant Austrian capital on your own or savor the Baroque elegance of romantic Vienna on the optional guided city tour which includes the world famous Vienna Opera House, Ringstrasse, St. Stephen’s Cathedral and more. The tour is followed by free time in the city center to shop for souvenirs or sampling some of Vienna’s famous pastries.

  • Day 7 – August 17, 2019

    Vienna, Austria
    Another day in Vienna is yours to enjoy as you like. Relax onboard, stroll the city at your own pace or take the optional tour to Schonbrunn Palace. This evening take in an optional Strauss and Mozart concert at the Kursalon in Vienna.

  • Day 8 – August 18, 2019

    Bratislava, Slovakia - Budapest, Hungary
    Bratislava, known as Pressburg until 1945, is the capital of Slovakia and one of the most famous cities on the Danube. An optional tour takes us past the Archiepiscopal Palace and the National Theatre to the 13th century Bratislava Castle which has a view as far as the border of Austria. Other attractions include the city gates, the Baroque palaces of the noblemen, and the elegant residences that have all survived from the days of the Danube monarchy. A walk through the pedestrian precinct, past St. Martin’s Cathedral, the Town Hall and Michael’s Gate, brings you back to the ship. Late evening arrival into Budapest.

  • Day 9 – August 19, 2019

    Budapest, Hungary
    This morning, a sightseeing tour takes you to historic Buda Castle, where you can enjoy a splendid view of the twin cities of Buda and Pest. Your tour also features the Fisherman’s Bastion, the Royal Palace, St. Stephen’s Basilica, Heroes’ Square and more. After dinner, the ship will sail a special evening cruise past the city’s beautiful riverfront.

  • Day 10 – August 20, 2019

Budapest, Hungary
Departure day. Budapest is an amazing city with new adventures around every corner. Spend an additional day or two and experience one of the many spas that the city has been famous for since Roman times. (Additional post hotel nights available.)


Ship Accommodations

The AMADEUS SILVER has a total of 78 standard cabins. Those on the Mozart and Strauss decks have an innovative form of French balcony offering the option of making the panoramic window (which extends across the whole cabin width) automatically drop-down so that the cabin becomes a balcony in itself. All staterooms include a seating area, flat screen TV, Wi-Fi, cabinet, safe and our Amadeus Signature Bed. Staterooms are located on all Decks, with the Mozart and Strauss Decks including the innovative French Balcony.

The 12 Balcony Suites, have ‘walk-out’ exterior balconies with their own seating groups, enormous panoramic windows and comfortable bathrooms. With 259 square feet of space to relax, you may not want to leave the ship at all! All suites include a luxurious bath, Wi-Fi, a flat screen TV, and a safe as well as a minibar. Suites are located on the Mozart Deck.

  • Tips You Need To Know Before Your Cruise

So, relax and absorb the ambiance of the magical settings and fascinating places you will visit.

    To help prepare you for your vacation, we have compiled some important tips. We encourage you to read this information carefully and to bring it with you as a reference during your travels. While traveling, please keep in mind that patience, understanding and the flexibility to adapt to a changing environment will enhance your vacation experience. Despite careful planning, unavoidable circumstances may require last minute changes to your itinerary. However, we have discovered that these deviations often reveal unexpected discoveries.

    Traveling reveals new and exciting lifestyles, cuisines and traditions that may be different from what you are used to. Respecting these differences will create an infinitely more pleasant and rewarding experience. We wish you an exciting and memorable vacation.

  • Passports & Visas

    A valid passport is required for all Brand g charters; your passport must be valid for at least six months after your return. It is your responsibility to ensure your passport is valid and secure all required visas. Consult with the appropriate consulates to determine if any visas are needed. Vacations can be disrupted, or altered if the correct documents cannot be supplied at airports or border crossings; please check your itinerary carefully. In the event that you lose your passport while traveling, we recommend you photocopy the first pages of your passport, airline tickets, driver’s license and/or birth certificate to simplify and expedite the process of replacing lost documents. Keep the originals separate from the copies. This will make replacement easier if you lose them en route. It is also useful to carry spare passport photos. You may wish to scan your passport, airline tickets and credit card numbers and email them to yourself as attachments, so you may download copies to assist in obtaining replacements.

  • What To Wear

    Comfortable clothes and good walking shoes while on land. And, since there are spa facilities, a putting green, shuffleboard and fitness room on the ship, we suggest workout clothes. Jackets and ties are not required. We recommend country club casual for dinner.

  • Special Diets

    Please advise Brand g Vacations prior to departure if you have any special dietary requirements. We will make every effort possible to always accommodate your requests, however, please note that local conditions and seasonality can restrict our ability on occasions.

  • Settling Your Bill Onboard

    The day before your cruise ends you will be given an invoice for any onboard charges you may have made. Please check the invoice to make sure all items are accounted for before payment/closing of the account. All onboard charges will be in Euros. Payment is accepted in cash (Euros) or by credit card. Your bank/credit card company will convert this into $US dollars at their own exchange rate. Some bank/credit cards may charge a separate fee, as well.

  • ATMs

    ATM machines are widely available throughout Europe and readily accessible during shore excursions; the ship does not have an ATM machine onboard. Prior to traveling, we recommend that you notify your bank of your travel plans so they can inform you of any applicable transaction fees and provide any information on restrictions, etc.

  • Currency

    For Austria and Germany the currency is the Euro, Czech Republic uses Crowns, and the Hungarian Forint for Hungary.
